Germaine used to have a small business in selling flour but when her husband fell ill, she gave up her business to focus on taking care of him. When he unfortunately passed away, she needed to restart her business to take care of her six children. She is now selling corn flour and is able to cover the basic needs of herself and her children as well as save up money. She plans to expand her business by selling through other convenience shops.
Germaine grinds the raw corn (see bowl of raw corn in picture above) into flour and puts them in small bags to sell (pictured above).
